Muthafushi Thila

Muthafushi Thila é um pequeno local de mergulho de pináculo. Este site é ótimo para fotógrafos ávidos e para aqueles que gostam de mergulhar devagar e olhar ao redor para descobrir toda a vida que este recife tem a oferecer.

Este local de mergulho é coberto por corais de rede amarela, corais duros e anêmonas. O pináculo está repleto de pequenos peixes de recife e é também um grande refúgio para as tartarugas marinhas.

Maavaru Thila

Maavaru Thila is made up of 2 different thilas (pinnacles) a deeper one to start the dive on and a shallower thila that is perfect to finish the dive on.

Fares Thila / Canyons

This site gets its name from the many canyons and overhangs that you can find between 12 and 30 meters. These crevices make great shelter for the nearby marine life. The coral growth here starts at around 10 meters. This site is suitable for all levels, although there can be strong currents.

Maalhos House Reef

Maalhos House Reef is easily accessible from the beach. The reef is right off the shore, and starts at a few meters and drops off. There are several small overhangs all over. It is possible to do a nice, long and relaxed dive here.

Maalhos Manta Point

Maalhos Manta point is our very own Manta Ray cleaning station on the island reef. It is a bit of a swim away and we usually take a boat out there to make it a bit more comfortable.

Anga Faru

Anga Faru translates to Mouth Reef in the local language, is a big reef with a lagoon and sand bank enclosed. The slope is fairly steep in some areas and there are multiple overhangs.

This dive site is suited to most levels, but this depends on the current. The reef is quite narrow and curves around the shape of the nearby island. Nitrox is recommended

nice drift dive first in a small bay and later on a steep wall. In the bay, sloping from 4 to 22m to then have a small dropoff. With a bit of luck you can see the wonderful manta rays passing by here from January to April.

Hanifaru Bay

The most famous manta ray feeding and breeding ground in the Maldives and the largest known in the world! Don’t miss out this fantastic spot between May and November. Whale Sharks and Dolphins pop in from time to time.

Maamunagaa Giri is like an isosceles triangle and can only be approached in good weather. The south side lies on the deep channel between Baa and Raa Atoll. Here, and on the northwest side, you can often see gray reef sharks and a beautiful school of jackfish. Macro life lies in the small overhangs and holes.
