The entrance to this site is easy to reach via the beach. The registration and entrance for diving are only possible via the diving center. You can park on their premises. They have changing tables, sinks, toilets, stands, and a cloakroom.

The dive site is for advanced or professional divers. The dive site is reached by boat. An open water descent is necessary. The visibility is usually very good here with 20 meters not uncommon.

The maximum depth in the southern basin is 26 meters. The Kulki, as divers affectionately call the lake, owes its formation to the mining of lignite. A pedreira de Ebendorf está localizada diretamente na entrada de Ebendorf, vindo da B189. Até 1914, era uma operação de mineração a céu aberto. Hoje a pedreira em Barleber Chaussee tem 110 m de comprimento, 80 m de largura, e a água 22 m de profundidade. A entrada é bastante fácil. Há uma escadaria e uma passarela.
