HTMS Sattakut, wreck

This is a wreck dive site where a Royal Thai Navy warship lies submerged just off the side of Himpi Wee, a dive site south of Nang Yuan Island adjacent to Koh Tao. The warship lies on the bottom of the water at a depth of about 30 meters and the bridge is at a relatively deep point, about 18 meters. This is a popular dive site that is sure to look great on Instagram.

Looking into the inside of the bridge from the outside, there are large fishes such as Red Kingfish and Yaito grouper taking root. You will see schools of snapper and terme trevally on the hull of the boat. If you are a macro diver, you will find many kinds of shrimps, crabs, nudibranchs, etc. if you observe the hull carefully.
