Marine life in the Brothers Islands is vibrant, busy, and exciting. The nutrient-rich waters of the Red Sea offer thrilling sightings of large oceanic whitetip sharks, for which this area is famous. Other shark encounters include hammerhead, silvertip, and grey reef sharks. These clear waters are also home to schools of barracuda and dogtooth tuna. It is the smaller marine life; however, that fill the underwater world of the Brothers Islands with an explosion of color. Massive gorgonian fans spread out amongst densely packed, colorful hard and soft corals, giving homes to a dense array of small, vibrant reef fish.
