Crystal Cliffs

This site is found on the east side of the lake. This dive has a very steep drop-off with lots of premises and old trees. One of the more picturesque dives.

This dive site has a cliff with a gentle rocky slope dive. It is a dive site that is suitable for both beginners and for the more advanced divers. This is a wall dive.

The site of an abandoned farmhouse. The actual house has not yet been found but there are water tanks and various other implements scattered around and gentle slope. In the shallow waters there are many trees. A good spot for beginners it’s a shallow dive.

This is a very shallow dive maximum 12 m. Full of tumbled rocks and trees and full of fish. After 12 m a silty slope goes into deeper water and you can reach 30 m very close to the shore.

This is an easy shallow dive and excellent for night driving. There are several trees and plenty of fish around. There is also a sunken small fishing boat.

This dive site is a great training area for navigation, search and recovery and night diving. This is a private dive site and permission needs to be obtained.

The Quarry is an actual flooded quarry and the material was used to build the wall. It is a 12 m dive protected from the wind on three sides so excellent for training in the event the wind is blowing.

Bass Lake ligger 45 minuter söder om Sandton. Sjön är källmatad och vattnet är av dricksvattenkvalitet och djupet varierar från en promenadvänlig sluttning till 23 meter på den djupaste punkten.

The SS Nebo wreck was a British steamboat which sank in 1884 and one of Aliwal Shoals many victims. It had departed from England and was en route to Durban, when it sank close to the coast it had 4500 tonnes of metal cargo that was planned for building a new railway.

Aliwal Shoals inre kant höjer sig från sanden och bildar ett fantastiskt landskap av toppar, raviner, genomgångar och grottor. Några av de bästa dykningarna i Afrika finns vid Aliwal Shoal. Den är hemvist för en mångfald av olika typer av marint liv.
