Limenaria

Five minutes east of Ierapetra, just off the crystal clear shores of Numo hotel, is a shallow reef and then a slightly deeper reaching 11 meters. The massive colorful rocks surrounded by golden sands, various fish and Neptune grass are well protected from the north and rarely encounter wavy weather.

Easy dive for all levels. Maximum depth is 11 meters and dive time about 50 minutes. A small reef with various sea life similar to Amphorae site.

You can find pieces of various amphorae here. Amphora is an ancient container with a certain characteristic shape and size, from as least as early the Neolithic Period. Amphorae were used in vast numbers for the transport and storage of various products, both liquid and dry, but mostly for wine.

Kori is a small rock in the middle of Hersonissos bay. This is an easy and long dive up to a maximum depth of 12 meters that makes it suitable for all levels. It’s about 8 minutes by boat and dive time is about 45min

This diving point is 13 miles from the base of Mare Sud and is accessible by boat and by car. It is a sandy beach with a maximum depth of 12 meters. At 150 meters off the coast and at an depth of 11 meters there is a boat shaft covering an area of one acre. The shipwreck hosts tropical marine life such as lionfish
