Situé sur la côte sud de l'île d'Elbe, au large du promontoire de Punta Morcone. Le bord de la cassure se trouve dans les herbes marines et le fond sablonneux à partir d'une profondeur d'environ 11 mètres jusqu'à un tombant de 40 mètres.
