This dive site is accessible by boat, with an average depth of 25m and a maximum depth of 32m. All exits on the boats are done by doing a negative entry.

2 Mile Reef Pinnacles

This dive site has an average depth of 10m and a maximum depth of 12m and is only accessible by boat. It is a nice shallow dive with an abundance of pinnacles to explore. The ‘Old Woman Pinnacle’ is a known feature, rising up to 6m.

This reef looks like a string of rocky formations placed in a ribbon-like pattern and has large sand patches on which rays camouflage themselves.

Gordon’s Drop - 5 Mile Reef

Gordon’s Drop is a flat reef characterized by rocky outcrops interlaced with sandy areas. The section of reef is on the seaward side of 5 Mile Reef. Depths range from approximately 24-26m.

This reef has huge plate corals that looks picnic tables. In a bed-time story all that is needed is Teddy Bears sitting at these tables. When diving down onto this reef you will be met with schools of a variety of different Fusiliers.

Home of the Coelacanth. This reef is sub 100m deep and forms part of Jessor Canyon. This section of Jessor Canyon slopes down from 90m to approximately 130m.

Unicorn Reef 2 Mile Reef

18m maximum depth. This reef is a Flat Coral Reef with Coral Bommies and Trenches. These bommies are a preferred placed for Sea Goldies and other Rockcods (Groupers). Cleaning station occurs at most of the bommies. This site is only reach by boat and is situated on 2 Mile Reef, Sodwana Bay.

Deep Sponge - 2 Mile Reef

An advanced dive site about 500m to the seaward side of Two Mile Reef. Deep Sponge is named for its huge vase-like sponges. The reef is rather flat sloping down towards the seaward side. At 27m is falls down to 30m with a slight wall on the seaward side.

Waynes World

This dive site has an average depth of 14m and a maximum depth of 16m and is only accessible by boat. Wayne’s World was named after a local skipper, Wayne Schick, who now runs a restaurant in Sodwana Bay.
