"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever!” — Jaques Cousteau

You are about to embark on one of the greatest adventures of your life. Receiving a snorkeling certification is the first step on a journey that changes the way you experience the world forever, and gives you the ability to explore our last true frontier: the ocean. The weightlessness of outer space is an experience limited to a few highly trained astronauts. You will explore the wonders of a weightless underwater world, interact with incredible marine life, and discover wrecks and ecosystems hidden beneath the surface.

Opportunities in Snorkeling

Your opportunities are only limited by your imagination and your physical capabilities. Snorkeling, freediving, and scuba diving are the “Ultimate Dive Experiences” to be enjoyed with family and friends. Your adventures can take you to the most spectacular places in the world. You can snorkel reefs and hover over walls, explore some wrecks and observe marine life. With an underwater camera or video, you can bring back exciting images to remember for a lifetime.

You may decide to become an SSI Dive Professional and enjoy the rewards of teaching the SSI program. Your love of the sea may even lead you to the sciences of marine archeology, marine biology or oceanography.
