Limenaria

Five minutes east of Ierapetra, just off the crystal clear shores of Numo hotel, is a shallow reef and then a slightly deeper reaching 11 meters. The massive colorful rocks surrounded by golden sands, various fish and Neptune grass are well protected from the north and rarely encounter wavy weather.

Named after the seaweed Posidonia, we can find a lot it around this area. There are rock formations that indicates some ancient human activity. An easy dive for all levels.

You can find pieces of various amphorae here. Amphora is an ancient container with a certain characteristic shape and size, from as least as early the Neolithic Period. Amphorae were used in vast numbers for the transport and storage of various products, both liquid and dry, but mostly for wine.

Tento letoun Messerschmitt BF109 je vrak z druhé světové války. Je v dobrém stavu, chybí pouze ocas z místa. Letoun byl s největší pravděpodobností sestřelen během bitvy na Krétě v květnu až červnu 1941.

Mělkou a hlubší. Mělká část začíná od hloubky 6 metrů a klesá do 12-13 metrů. Hlubší část je od 12 do 19 metrů.
