Each SSI Diver can check their own data or allow checks at his/her free will if a certificate was issued for them:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth

Terms of Use

  • Users of this service accept that all rights of the content of this area are reserved worldwide by the persons (certification owners) and Concept Systems Inc.
  • Active Dive Professionals and Dive Centers are authorized to use this content to verify the certification status of the certification owner for purposes of educational activities and/or recreational diving activities. The requested data is allowed to be shown on the screen.
  • Transfer of personal data to third parties without written authorization of the certification owner is strictly prohibited.
  • Temporary Cards are for personal use of the certification owner only. Temporary Cards may be duplicated by the certification owner for personal needs. Further duplication - completely or partially - in electronic, mechanical or any other format must be accompanied with written authorization of such from the certification owner.
  • The transfer of the content - completely or partially - in electronic, mechanical or any other format to third parties is strictly prohibited.

To make sure the qualifications are met, SSI Resorts get regular visits from SSI Representatives. Plus, SSI Resort Facility standards meet or exceed both International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Recreational Training Council (RSTC) standards. Each SSI Dive Resort offers the latest SSI Programs so you can reach your personal diving goals when it works best for you at a variety of locations.

SSI Dive Resort can have a variety of titles: Dive Resort, Instructor Training Resort, Diamond Dive Resort, Diamond Instructor Training Resort and Dive Boat.

SSI Dive Resorts must meet the following minimum standards:

  • Post and maintain established regular business hours that are convenient for customers.
  • Have a professional image in the following areas; dive trips and tuition, rental department, compressor and dive boats. Maintain a neat, clean and attractive facility with adequate amount of inventory appropriately displayed
  • Have or have access to a compressor system that delivers quality-breathing air or enriched air.
  • Have all required governmental licenses and permits and comply with all labor and tax laws.
  • Conduct operation with a commitment to high quality.
  • Have no ethics or Standards violations pending or any verified ethics or Standards violations in the past 12 months with SSI or any other training organization.
  • Use the minimum Total Diving System, as defined in the SSI Standards, for student divers.
  • Offer properly maintained and documented up-to-date equipment for rental and other instruction than SSI.
  • Agree to implement SSI Monitor’s Assessment Procedures (MAP) program or an SSI Service Center’s approved alternative program. Require SSI Instructors to teach programs within the control and direction of the Dive Resort.
  • When SSI training is requested use SSI Instructors, SSI teaching materials, and issue SSI certifications using an active status SSI Instructor on staff to conduct the SSI training.
  • Have a representative sample of the all SSI products, programs and services for all SSI programs offered.
  • Due to the importance of each student understanding the material; each student must have access to their own personal SSI Training Manual and DiveLog and view the SSI Training Video or DVD. With a family, each student must have access to their own SSI Training Manual, and DiveLog.
  • When working with referral students, conduct the Universal Referral Program as outlined in the Universal Referral Program manual.
  • Provide five (5) or more levels of SSI diver certification and at least diving experiences from two (2) out of the following different specialty areas of diving: Boat Diving / Wreck Diving / Deep Diving / Waves, Tides
